Winn Honored by CJP

More than 500 people, including Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, honored local developer and philanthropist Arthur Winn at Combined Jewish Philanthropies’ Real Estate, Construction and Design Annual Dinner.
Winn, the President and Founder of WinnCompanies was honored with the Edwin N. Sidman Leadership Award for his professional and philanthropic efforts. The event at the Intercontinental Hotel featured a keynote speech by Governor Baker and raised more than $400,000 – surpassing CJP’s sponsorship goal by more than $100,000.
“People talk about Arthur as someone who builds communities and that’s true, but what’s great about Arthur is the family he has built,” Gov. Baker said in remarks to the crowd. Arthur’s son, Gilbert Winn, the CEO of WinnCompanies, and his daughters, Rebecca and Jennifer, introduced their father’s remarks before presenting him with the Leadership Award.
