Gitit Shoval, a renowned Israeli musical artist, is releasing “Connected,” a new album of songs, in November 2019, in time for Thanksgiving, and has launched a Kickstarter Campaign to raise the funds to bring the album of Jewish music to the masses.
“Connected” is being musically produced and arranged by Gitit’s husband Ron Druyan, a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. The Kickstarter campaign has already raised 83 percent of the $18,000 needed.
This year marks Gitit’s 40th anniversary on her musical journey. Gitit started singing when she was 13 years old in the Israeli Song Festival. At the age of 18, Shoval began her service for the IDF as a solo performer, and as part of her service, has performed all over Israel to lift the spirits of the soldiers serving.
