Robert Katz, 74 – late of Peabody. Died on March 6, 2019.

Beloved husband of Saundra Katz. Devoted father of Gregory Katz and Brett Katz. Cherished grandfather of Arielle Katz, Erika Tuzzulo, Joshua Katz, Charlize Katz, Meah Katz, Lilah Katz, and Sophia Katz. Cherished great-grandfather of Joshua Fitch. Loving brother of Rosalie (Katz) Vazzana, Daniel Katz, David Katz, and Gerald Katz. Dear son of the late Sara Katz and Morris Katz.

Robert grew up in Revere and raised his family in Peabody. He served in the US Army and worked for the US Postal Service for over 37 years. He cherished his time spent with family and friends, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Robert will be held on Monday March 11 at 12:00 noon in Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem. Interment will follow in Congregation Ohel Jacob Cemetery, Washington St., Woburn. Shiva will be held at Karen and Gregory Katz’s home in Dunstable following services from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

    I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Bobby
    I remember growing up with him when I was very
    Young. He was a really nice person who will be missed. May he RIP. My prayers for his family
