We are horrified by the recent events in Israel and on its borders. This is a time to express our steadfast support for our brothers and sisters in Israel, as we mourn those who have been killed, as Israelis nurse their wounded, and as young and old sit in fear in bomb shelters and stairwells, seeking to shield themselves from the rain of missiles launched by cynical enemies.

We deplore all loss of life and pray that hostilities may subside and that one day a path to peace may be found. In this hour of peril, it is vital that we continue to respond forcefully to Israel’s enemies here and around the world.

Let us raise our voices with a clear message that Israel’s right to exist cannot be questioned, that our people will not be intimidated, and that antisemitism whether directed toward Jews in the diaspora or expressed in violence against Israelis will never be tolerated.

There are many ways that we can demonstrate our support for our Jewish family in Israel. Please act today!

May the One who makes peace in the high heavens bring peace upon us, upon all the people of Israel, and on Jerusalem.
