US Attorney Rachel Rollins recently visited residents at German Centre Skilled Nursing Residence, operated by Chelsea Jewish Lifecare, to kick off the first BBQ since the pandemic. Residents were thrilled to have the opportunity to meet with the distinguished and much-admired US Attorney.
Amidst an animated question and answer session, US Attorney Rollins described the responsibilities of her position as well as the issues facing the Commonwealth. Genevieve MacLellan, president of the Board of Trustees, Deutsches Altenheim, Inc. and Austin Azeta, director of Nursing, gave Rollins a warm welcome on behalf of the residents and staff members. Immediately following the discussion, the US Attorney and her uncle Paul Jackson, kicked off a summer cook-out, complete with festive July 4th decorations and live entertainment. US Attorney Rollins promised to come back in the fall and meet with employees throughout the entire Deutsches Altenheim campus.
