What a thrill to see the pictures of the wedding of our son, Michael, in the Journal. (“We wanted a wedding that was going to be meaningful,” Jan. 18) We, along with Mike and his husband, Raffi, were more than happy to share their story.

Years ago, I wrote an article for the Journal about Mike’s journey and his coming out as a gay man, and now years later we celebrate his wedding.

A special thank you to Bruce Silverlieb, caterer extraordinaire, who not only created the most divine food but also transformed the tent at Shirat Hayam into a magical setting for this event. And to Barri Stein for everything she does to make it all happen.
