It was interesting to read the article on people who still go to shul to make a minyan regularly (“Who wants to be a minyanaire?” Jewish Journal, Feb. 2).

The front page picture notes the oldest one is a retired professor who is 89 but in the front row is Sam Shoer. Sam is 96 and loves making a Minyan. His daughter-in-law drives him.

“Who wants to be a minyanaire”? Sam does.
