Audrey Marcus

Audrey Marcus, of Boca Raton, Fla., entered into rest on Sept. 5, 2023 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Irving Marcus, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Her memory lives on through her sons and their families: Aaron and Nancy Marcus, along with their children Gabby and Jackson of Charlotte, N.C., and Lawrence and Suzanne Marcus and their children Cameron, Charlotte and Skylar of Saugus. The loving sister of Ruth Katz of Boca Raton. Daughter of late Sophie and Leonard Katz of Salem.

Audrey grew up in Salem, graduated from Beth Israel Hospital, and spent the majority of her 40-year career as an RN/visiting nurse. She raised her family in Peabody.

She was a dedicated member of Temple Ner Tamid of the North Shore.

Audrey loved reading, visiting museums, listening to classical music, and playing bingo and slots as much as she could on the North Shore and in South Florida.

A graveside service for Audrey was held on Sept. 13 at Sudlikov Cemetery, 232 Fuller St., Everett. Arrangements were handled by Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, Salem.

    Lawrence B. Marcus, 50, of Saugus, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by family. Larry was born in Lynn on April 8, 1973 and was the son of the late Dr. Irving and Audrey (Katz) Marcus. Larry was raised in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, Class of 1991 and later graduated from Johnson and Wales University, Class of 1995. After college he worked in sales and found his niche with his love of cars and had become a car salesman. He married his loving wife Suzanne in 2014 and began his family and life as a dad to his three children. He was an avid car guy and sneakerhead. He was a huge Boston sports fan who loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his children. Larry was the beloved husband of Suzanne Marcus. He was the loving father of Cameron A. Marcus (6), Charlotte S. Marcus and Skylar Marcus (3) . He was the brother of Aaron Marcus and his wife Nancy of NC. He was the uncle of Gabby Marcus and Jackson Marcus. He was the beloved nephew of Ruth Katz of FL. He is also survived by the countless people who knew and loved him. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held in Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. , Lynn on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 2-5pm. Funeral Services will be private.
