Audrey Marcus, of Boca Raton, Fla., entered into rest on Sept. 5, 2023 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Irving Marcus, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Her memory lives on through her sons and their families: Aaron and Nancy Marcus, along with their children Gabby and Jackson of Charlotte, N.C., and Lawrence and Suzanne Marcus and their children Cameron, Charlotte and Skylar of Saugus. The loving sister of Ruth Katz of Boca Raton. Daughter of late Sophie and Leonard Katz of Salem.

Audrey grew up in Salem, graduated from Beth Israel Hospital, and spent the majority of her 40-year career as an RN/visiting nurse. She raised her family in Peabody.

She was a dedicated member of Temple Ner Tamid of the North Shore.

Audrey loved reading, visiting museums, listening to classical music, and playing bingo and slots as much as she could on the North Shore and in South Florida.

A graveside service for Audrey was held on Sept. 13 at Sudlikov Cemetery, 232 Fuller St., Everett. Arrangements were handled by Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, Salem.
