David Robert Leibovitz, of West Peabody, passed away suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sept. 9, 2023, at the age of 87.
David was the husband of Susan (Levitan) for 65 years, and the devoted father of Mark and his wife Jeannie, Beth and her late husband Mark Simons, and Brian and his wife Carolann. Proud Papa of Kate Kerwin and her husband Thomas, William Davison and his wife Sarah, Rebecca Bell and her husband James, Kimberly Leibovitz, and Timothy Davison and his wife Courtney. Proudest Papa of Claire, Caroline, Thomas and John Kerwin, Wyatt and Parker Davison, Landry, Lucas and Logan Bell, Iyla and Kai Davison and Mason Sperring. Brother of the late Arnold Leibovitz.
A funeral service was held at Temple Tiferet Shalom, 489 Lowell St. Peabody, Sept. 11, followed by interment at Temple Beth Shalom Memorial Park, Buxton Lane, Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to Temple Tiferet Shalom’s General Fund, 489 Lowell St., Peabody, MA 01960. Arrangements were handled by Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, Salem.
