  1. I am shocked and tremendously saddened to learn of the death of my longtime friend Arnold. Arnold lived his life with self confidence, grace, dignity and accomplishment. When he walked into a room, all knew that he had arrived. He lead the Marblehead Board of Selectmen with incredible leadership which accounts for him being the longest serving Council member in Marblehead’s history. He was fair, friendly but firm! I loved seeing Arnold and Nancy having dinner at The Boston Yacht Club over the years. Helena and I always said that they were the most elegant couple in the room. They were devoted to their one another, their family and friends, which we were privileged to be included. I want Nancy and their family to know that we care…Arnold was quite an irreplaceable guy!!
